EXTENDED Warranty

WARRANTY TERMS

  • The products manufactured, sold & delivered by Microtech Designs shall be free of defects in material & workmanship, conform to applicable specifications & perform in accordance with normal usage specified in documentation. This cover is applicable as specified in the “Product Coverage Period” section.

  • Microtech designates warranty period based on intended product usage. All “e-LOOP”, “e-TRANS” or associated accessories are assigned one of three distinct categories.

    • “Domestic” Designation: e-LOOP MINI (EL00M). e-LOOP MICRO (ELMIC) & e-TRANS 20 (ET20)

    • “Light-Industrial” Designation: e-LOOP LIGHT INDUSTRIAL (EL00LI)

    • “Commercial” Designation: e-LOOP COMMERCIAL (EL00C), e-LOOP IN-GROUND (EL00IG), e-LOOP POST MOUNT (EL00PM), e-LOOP WIRED (EL00W), e-TRANS 50 (ET50), e-TRANS 100 (ET100), e-TRANS 200 (ET200), e-TX REMOTE (E-TX), e-KEYPAD (E-KP), 12DBI ANTENNA (ANT12), 30DBI ANTENNA (ANT30), FLUSH MOUNT ANTENNA (ANTFLUSH), e-TRIGGER (E-TRIG), e-LIGHT (e-LIGHT), e-LIGHT MODULE (e-LIGHT-MODULE), AC-DC CONVERTER (ACDC-CONV)

    Where otherwise uncategorised, e-LOOP, e-TRANS & associated accessories are designated under the “LIGHT INDUSTRIAL” designation.

    Basic Warranty Coverage Period

    • Domestic: 12 Month Coverage

    • Light-Industrial: 24 Month Coverage

    • Commercial: 24 Month Coverage

  • The e-LOOP “Extended Warranty” program refers to an opt-in only service, requiring the logging of a unit’s serial numbers, entitling it to lengthened service warranty.

    This service is available only to “V4"/”Version 4” products.

    Qualification for this service is contingent of complete fulfillment of the “Extended Warranty Form” available for digital submission via https://eloo.ps/warranty. Form must be completed in its entirety to constitute a valid submission.

    Extension Granted Per Designation

    • Domestic: 12 Month Extension

    • Light Industrial: 12 Month Extension

    • Commercial: 24 Month Extension

  • In the event of breach of warranty, Microtech Designs shall repair or replace the defective products.

  • Items not covered by warranty include:

    • Consumable parts such as batteries or fasteners (unless problem has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship)

    • Damage caused by accident, misuse, fire, chemical contact, earthquake or other external cause

    • Damage caused by operating product outside of Microtech Designs’ published guidelines or capabilities

    • Defects caused by normal wear & tear or otherwise due to normal ageing of the product.

  • Customer must notify Place of Purchase within 10 days of the discovery of any claimed defect, specifying the nature of the claimed defect. Customer must return the alleged defective product as advised by the distributor.

  • Microtech Designs & Customer agree to comply with all applicable laws & regulations relating to data protection. Both parties shall implement appropriate technical & organisational measure to protect personal data against accident or unlawful destruction.

  • Aggregate liability of the Company, whether for breach of contract, tort (including negligence & strict liability), or otherwise, shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Products. In no event shall the Company be liable for any loss of use, loss of data, interruption of business, or any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damage of any kind.

  • This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties with respect to its subject matter & supersedes any previous communication or agreements that may exist.

    We hereby declare the information reflected within this agreement is executed & in force as of 25 November 2024.
